My closest direct ancestor with the Queen of England and her descendants is King Edward I, the Longshanks, who lived in the 1200s and early 1300s. I am in no position to ever inherit that throne! Through one of my mother’s lineages, my genealogy connects to the same lineage as the Queen of England. Interestingly, I am aware of many of my genealogical lists through my father and my mother. Though this lineage is known, it is deemphasized and largely ignored in our secular culture that insists in recent times that we are the progeny of animals instead of Noah. 2 In fact, this is the case with many royal houses in Europe. The Queen of England (Queen Elizabeth II) has a lineage that goes back to Noah-which is fairly well-known based on the six Anglo-Saxon royal houses (Anglia, Kent, Lindsey, Mercia, Northumbria, and Wessex). Given the age of creation, can we know the approximate generation number from Adam to people today? Actually, we can in some instances. The full genealogy from Adam to Jesus was 76 clearly listed generations, and from Noah to Jesus, it was 66. In Luke 3, we even have a full biblical lineage from Adam to Jesus through notable progenitors, like Noah, Shem, Abraham, David, and Joseph (Mary’s husband), who was only the supposed father of Jesus (Luke 3:23). 1 After Noah, we split into three sons (Japheth, Shem, and Ham), and from there, to everyone today. We are certain from Genesis 5 and 10 that Noah was in the tenth generation from Adam because all the genealogical data is given from father to son. Any help you can provide woud be greatly appreciated.I’ve heard this title’s question many times over the years. To me this seems to be a clunky experience on trying to set up a watering schedule. No other options are available in the Home app. However, the Home app will only let me set the run time to the default of either 5 minutes or 10 minutes. I have to first create the scene in the Eve app (where the accessory is visible), then the scene can be seen in the Home app. In the Home app, I cannot create a scene with the Water Sprinkler as it doesn't show up as an accessory. What am I doing wrong? Why can't I set up an automation to turn the water on for, say 20 minutes? The scrolling option doesn't work and it defaults to 10 Minutes and will not let me change this time no matter what I do. Under Default Duration, there is a scrolling option for 1 Minute, 2 Minutes, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, 15 Minutes, 20 Minutes, and I think 25 Minutes. Under Schedule, the only options are On or Off. BUT, under Watering, the options are only On or Off. There is a toggle for each of these three conditions. When I go into Automations and create a Scene for this device, it gives me the following options "Watering, Schedule, Default Duration". I cannot find any way to set up a schedule for the Water Controller in the Eve App. The Eve app I am using is version 5.3 and the iOS version on my iPhone is 14.7.1 which I believe are the latest releases I am in the US and have just recently purchased the EVE Thread enabled Water Controller. In our house, we love schedules, especially because our workdays at least are highly regimented. So you can switch the lights on if it gets dark a little earlier or keep the lights on if you leave for work a little later. This makes schedules a really convenient and reliable way to control your Eve accessories. Of course you can also manually adjust the current state at any time via the app, Siri or the integrated controls. If you’ve used an Eve accessory before, then you’ve probably set a timer – a feature used to activate a scene, such as switching on a floor lamp, at a time you set in the Home or Eve app.īecause timers are not saved on the accessory itself, they only work if the accessory is connected to a home hub – an Apple TV (4th generation or later) or a HomePod. In contrast, schedules always work – with or without a home hub, autonomously and without a network connection. To illustrate another advantage of schedules, it’s helpful to draw a distinction between schedules and timers. The big advantage: your lights and appliances will turn on and off automatically, independently of a network or internet connection. This means each Eve accessory is able to run the schedule on its own. Schedules are set up using the Eve app, and subsequently stored on the accessory itself. Today I’d like to share just how you can take advantage of these schedules. With autonomous schedules, you can easily program lights, appliances, radiators, and sprinkler systems to turn on and off automatically and reliably at set times. Eve Energy, Eve Energy Strip, Eve Thermo, Eve Aqua and now Eve Light Switch ( EU / NA)– many Eve accessories support autonomous schedules.
